Well it appears that Blizzard has some tricks in their pockets with mischievously releasing information on a new playable race for their upcoming expansion expected to hit stores October 2nd. However, the whole idea that makes this information a bit sneaky is the fact that it was released just before April 1st, which we all know is April fools day. There has been much controversy portrayed throughout the World of Warcraft community when this information became public. Many feel that this is just a joke and many believe that this is the real deal. After I took a look at the page Blizzard created for the wisp race, I do admit it does look a bit situational and sketchy. However, Blizzard isn’t off the line yet. They have always when releasing information about their new features in patches and such to make things seem a bit unrealistic. But to all who want the so called information on the wisps check out the link below and have fun. April fools! I think…

Does anyone remember the Pandaren Pizza delivery from last year?
Some things really don’t add up about the racial traits, and seem a bit unrealistic. Okay, maybe alot unrealistic. There are also a ton of other things if you played WoW that you would understand how being a wisp would be very unbalancing to the other races.
Detonate: Destroys the wisp, dispelling all magical buffs and draining 50 mana from each unit in an area around the wisp.
Gatherer: Skill to herbalism, mining, and skinning increased by 10.
Permanent Death
Treeform: Turns the wisp into a tree for 30 seconds. During this time, spirit is increased by 300. However, the wisp’s chance to dodge or parry axes is reduced by 50%.
Maybe I’m jaded, but I thought it was rather obvious from the “Reroll Character” dialog on the screenshot that this is an April Fool’s joke.
Who in their right mind would spend the time to level up their wisp character just so they can die in a flash of light and have to go back to level 1 again?
The world may never know.
I’m pretty certain it’s a joke, because if your main character is a wisp, that’s not much to look at, and what about armor and weapon, and other loot showing up on the character? It just wouldn’t work.

I agree, but sometimes Blizzard does very strange things…
