Firefly Studios and Take Two Interactive announces Stronghold Legend, the castle-building-then-protecting real-time strategy game. In previous installment of the series, you fought Arabians and men who resemble rats and wolves, but in Legends, you play either as King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, Count Vlad Dracul or relive the heroic sagas of the mighty Siegfried of Germany. No, Roy and lions aren’t in this version. Stronghold Legends is expected to be on store shelves this fall.
I’ve played the original Stronghold and its expansion to death, but really didn’t like Stronghold 2. I’m a bit apprehensive how Legends will turn out, but I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt and hope it turns out to be addictive fun like the original was.
